The CFBAA Foundation is excited to announce that we are offering four scholarships for the upcoming 2025 year! The application portal is now open, and the deadline to apply is April 28, 2025.

Thanks to the generous support of the business aviation community, the CFBAA Foundation has been able to expand both the number of scholarships and the financial awards offered. This growth reflects our continued commitment to supporting individuals pursuing careers in business aviation and related fields.

CFBAA for Incoming College Students

This award is for a Florida high school student wishing to pursue a career in corporate aviation applying to a Florida based accredited program (Aviation Accreditation Board International and FAA approved).  The award is a one time award to be utilized as the awardee begins their university studies.  As  you  create the 60 second (1 minute) application video it is recommended to provide a statement on how the scholarship may assist the student in your goals for future employment in the corporate aviation industry.   Applicants are encouraged to review any video may be uploading to provide the best presentation of yourself possible.                   

Qualifications:

Applicant must be a resident of Florida.

Applicant must be an incoming college student.

Applicant must be attending a college/university with an FAA and/or accredited program.

Applicant college/university must be located in Florida.


Scholarship for Current College Students

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide aid to a currently enrolled student in an FAA approved or AABI accredited university who has a career goal to work in the corporate aviation industry in the future.   It is recommended as you create your 60 second application video for this scholarship to please state what is the first career goal in corporate aviation you may have upon graduating. Students are encouraged to review any video may be uploading to present the best presentation of yourself possible.

Qualifications:

Applicant must be a resident of Florida.

Applicant must be a current college student.

Applicant must be a college/university with an FAA and/or AABI accredited program.

Applicant college/university must be located in Florida.

 

CFBAA Award ~ YoPro Career Development

This award is aimed at assisting a young professional (see NBAA YoPro site) already employed in the corporate aviation industry looking to expand their professional qualifications with additional skills. 

Among possible examples of this would be earning a certification in a specific field or a new type rating.  The award might be used to assist in covering the the costs of attending a NBAA event aimed at professional development.  

Applicants are asked to please state the goal of the additional learning activity involved in and how the activity may assist in your career path in corporate aviation during your 60 second (1 minute) video.  Additionally, an up-to-date resume and a letter of support from a current manager or mentor on how the award will assist in a career development activity may be uploaded.  Applicants are encouraged to review any video that may be uploaded to provide the the best presentation of yourself possible. 

Qualifications

Applicant must be a resident of Florida.

Applicant must currently be working in the Corporate Aviation field.


CFBAA Award for Career Development  (Beyond YoPro)

This award supports professional development activities for someone in the corporate aviation industry who is no longer eligible for the NBAA YoPro program and may be more mid-career or later in their professional life. 

The award may be used to earn additional type ratings, entering a certificate program for learning new skills or assist in covering the costs to attend a NBAA event or program aimed at career development and a continuation of life long learning.

Applicants are asked to please state the goal of the learning activity and how may assist you in your career in corprate aviation during a 60 second (1 minute) video.  Additionally, an up-to-date resume and a letter of support from a current mentor or manager on how the award will assist in career development may be uploaded.  Applicants are encouraged to review any video uploaded to provide the best presentation of yourself possible.

Applicant must be a resident of Florida.

Applicant must currently be working in the Corporate Aviation field.
